On October 3, I’ll be singing as a member of the newly formed choir “Setagaya Egrets,” including a solo part, at Setagaya Egret Hall in Tokyo. 🕊️🎶
The concert is produced by Reiko Yukawa, a renowned music critic and lyricist, known for writing lyrics for many Japanese hit songs as well as Japanese versions of Disney songs including Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Tarzan.
The lineup also includes legendary singer Masaki Ueda & his R&B BAND, Tokyo Josei Choir, and the wonderful Setagaya Egrets, with radio personality Yasuhiko Akasaka as MC. ✨
As a singer-songwriter, I have mainly shared music through my own voice as a solo artist.
This time, I’m very happy to have the opportunity to create music by bringing our voices together with so many wonderful people.
One voice becomes many.
And many voices become one.
I hope we can share the power of voice and music together with everyone in the audience. 🍀✨
I had the pleasure of seeing the stage production “My life Your life” ~ Jinsei Iroiro ~, for which I had the honor of providing music.
It was a beautiful opportunity to reflect on life and what it means to be alive.
I found myself feeling a deep sense of affection for each and every audience member, as well as every actor and staff member who shared this moment together.
